As the leader of the company’s Business Development and Account Management teams, and reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing new business as well as the effective management of existing accounts. You will target new business prospects and develop a healthy pipeline of opportunities for the company.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for architecting and implementing a sales and account management strategy to develop a healthy pipeline of opportunities for the company.
  • Lead the sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to finalising and closing the deal.
  • Ensure full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development.
  • Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with cross-functional teams on opportunity pursuits, resolve customer issues, and share best practices.
  • Establish and foster relationships with key customers/ clients.
  • Lead the Business Development and Account Management teams ensuring effective people leadership across all aspects of the colleague life cycle.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in a similar role, with extensive understanding of the Insurtech market and business development of SaaS/ software products.
  • Results orientated with proven decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise multiple objectives.
  • Proven track record of meeting quarterly and annual targets.
  • Experience selling to insurance carriers is a major plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • High technical aptitude, a desire to learn, and excited by selling into new markets.
  • Creative approach to identifying solutions for clients/ customers.
