The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering end-to-end Company platform implementations. The successful candidate will have outstanding project management skills such as customer management, timeline management, task management, and budget management, etc. The individual will also have exceptional communication skills which will be used to highlight key achievements, next steps, and risks/issues for management.  Our client’s platform is built upon Salesforce; therefore, this role requires hands-on implementation knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform in order to work with the team to develop customer solutions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Initiate the project – check feasibility and establish budgets, teams, and resources
  • Identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project
  • Apply appropriate project management methods and tools
  • Agree on project approach with stakeholders
  • Prepare realistic plans including quality, risk, and communications plan
  • Track activities against the project schedule and manage stakeholder involvement
  • Monitor costs, timescales, and resources used and act where these deviate from agreed tolerance
  • Ensure any change requests are formally acknowledged
  • Ensure that projects are formally closed and where appropriate reviewed and that lessons learned are recorded
  • Report regularly to management and the customer
  • Ensure the quality standards are met
 
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience in managing complex projects across a range of customers simultaneously – in line with specifications and budget
  • Experience with project management tools and best practices supporting Insurance implementation projects
  • Knowledge of Salesforce – Advantage
  • Experience in IT systems analysis – Advantage
  • Global experience in implementation systems and project management abroad
  • Familiarity with world of insurance and insurance systems
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects at one time
