Our client is looking for a Project Manager to perform a lead role in managing the implementation projects of their enterprise software products. The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer. You will take ownership for customer implementations of their advanced technology products for start-ups, SMEs, and enterprise customers in the global insurance and reinsurance market. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced and agile environment.

What would you do?  

Client Implementation & Service Delivery:

    • Lead client implementation, service delivery providing management and oversight of implementation projects and staffing including project assignments, capacity planning, project profitability, and delivery governance.
    • Maintains complete control on product implementation schedule, budget, and risk/ issues.
    • Identify project risks early and assist by providing prudent and timely recommendations for risk avoidance.
    • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
    • Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
    • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
    • Oversee and execute process improvements and the development of policies, procedures, methods, and tools in support of delivery.

 

Leadership & Strategic Involvement:

    • Contribute to the skill development of the implementation team resources globally.
    • Directly supervise implementation consultants, business analysts; conducts employee performance reviews/evaluations and career development discussions.
    • Establish strategic plans along with other business leaders and maintain strong relationships with core product delivery, the sales team, account managers, and strategic partners in the support of our product initiatives and vision.
    • Comfortable and thrive on pitching to enterprise C-level executives.

 

Presales:

    • Provide support pre-sales team across the globe.
    • Support pre-sales processes and working with sales and account management professionals to win new business.
    • Participate in bidding process to support with RFP, RFI, POC & Demos.

 

What would you bring? 
  • 10+ years’ experience in implementing technology products, preferably within Insurance industry.
  • Technology focussed background with application, data, cloud, security etc.
  • Clear understanding of requirements engineering and product implementation lifecycle processes.
  • Proven experience of working with Enterprise software implementation and SAAS products.
  • Strong operational, project management and process skills.
  • Solid communication/presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Detailed Understanding of P&C Insurance Industry.
  • A strong work ethic, exhibiting leadership by example.
  • Ability to adapt to a frequently changing and growing environment, which may result in changed priorities or refined job duties.
  • Lead by example and willing to take on tasks across the implementation lifecycle.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills including the proven ability to recruit, mentor, and motivate.
  • Ability to travel (occasional situation and travel rules permitting) to meet customers and partners.

 

How would you outshine in your current role? (Desirable Skills)  
  • BS or MS degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience in both start-up and corporate environments.
  • Understanding of Cloud-based deployment.
  • Understanding of Distributed ledger Technology.
  • An understanding of the global insurance market and the challenges it faces today in the future.
