The company specialises in the management of discontinued insurance and reinsurance portfolios. Formed in 2020, the managing agency has assumed responsibility for a number of run-off insurance portfolios.

The (Senior) Risk Analyst will support the Global Chief Risk Officer in delivering the work required of a compliant risk function, including:

  • Day-to-day management and performance of the validation process
  • Day-to-day management and performance of the ORSA process, including quarterly and annual reporting and maintaining the risk management framework.

As part of a small risk team, the candidate will be exposed to every aspect of the business and have the opportunity to become involved in the due diligence and discovery activities arising from expansion of the business.

We offer hybrid working, with the successful applicant expected to attend the London office approximately 40% of the time, or more should business requirements dictate.


Key Responsibilities
    • Risk profile monitoring

o Maintain and update the risk register in response to changing business needs

o Conduct quarterly risk and control reviews with risk owners

o Monitor and report on incidents


    • Risk MI production

o Prepare risk reporting for Board and sub-committees on a quarterly basis


    • Emerging Risks

o Monitor on a continual basis and produce an annual report


    • ORSA report

o Draft the annual ORSA report


    • Internal Model validation for the Syndicate

o Develop and maintain a detailed validation test plan

o Co-ordinate performance of validation testing

o Maintain validation policy and associated documentation

o Assist the CRO is liaising with the capital team and Lloyd’s MRC review teams


    • Support the business in proposed and in onboarding transactions


    • Support the CRO in leading ESG implementation.
