Job Overview

Template Configuration Analyst is responsible for configuring product templates for various lines of business in insurance and geographic regions like US, Europe, UK, Australia within the BPA (Beyond Policy Administration) product. The Analyst will work closely with the Product SMEs, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design templates that meet business needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of insurance forms, experience with configuration management tools, source code management tools including GitHub, and excellent problem-solving skills.


Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with BPA Product SMEs, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements for template configuration.
  • Design, configure, and test templates for various lines of business in insurance, including but not limited to Property, Auto, Business Owners, and worker’s compensation.
  • Ensure templates comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support to end-users in the use of configured templates.
  • Document template configurations and provide training to end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to template configuration.
  • Continuously improve the template configuration process through identifying and implementing process improvements.


Essential Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in template configuration or related field
  • Strong understanding of insurance property and casualty domain
  • Prior experience in insurance product configuration
  • HTML and Javascript knowledge
  • Understanding of JSON data structures
  • Experience with source version code tools such as git/github, or other similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of ACORD forms in Insurance Domain
  • Knowledge of any other insurance rating bureaus forms like ISO, AAIS in Insurance Domain
  • Understanding of Open API specifications
  • Experience in UI dynamic forms configurable tools javascript framework such as Form IO.
